Define
Clarify the audience, the offer and the single action the site should drive.
Websites that look sharp and actually convert.
Responsive website design that balances visual appeal with performance - from marketing sites and landing pages to full multi-page builds, delivered ready for development.
A website has seconds to explain what you do and why it matters. I design sites that answer that quickly, then guide the visitor to a clear next step.
Every layout is designed responsively from the start, so the mobile experience is deliberate rather than an afterthought. I hand off with spacing, type scales and component states documented.
I regularly work alongside developers building in WordPress, Webflow and React, so the designs I produce are grounded in what can actually be built and maintained.
Most visitors decide whether to keep reading within a few seconds of landing. That decision is made on clarity, not decoration: can they tell what this is, who it is for, and what to do next?
So the design starts with the message hierarchy rather than the visuals. I work out what the page must say first, second and third, then design a layout that delivers it in that order. Visual polish comes after the structure holds up, which is also why my projects rarely need the late-stage rescue rounds that content-last designs tend to require.
More than half of most sites I work on are viewed on a phone, so mobile is designed deliberately rather than derived by shrinking the desktop layout. Navigation, tap targets, content order and image crops are all decided for the small screen specifically.
I design at three breakpoints as standard - desktop, tablet and mobile - and document how components reflow between them so the build does not have to improvise.
A design that cannot be implemented on budget is not a good design. I work regularly alongside developers in WordPress with Elementor Pro, Webflow, and React, so the layouts I produce map onto real components with realistic effort.
For WordPress and Webflow projects I can take the build on myself, which removes the handoff step entirely. For React or custom stacks I supply specs and review the built result against the design.
Discovery on audience and goals, a sitemap and page structure, wireframes for each unique template, high-fidelity design across three breakpoints, a component library, and an annotated handoff with exported assets.
Where useful I also provide copy direction - not full copywriting, but guidance on what each section needs to say and roughly how long it should be, so the design and the words fit each other.
My website design work starts at $24 per hour, or $900 per week for a dedicated engagement. A typical marketing site lands between one and three weeks of work depending on page count and complexity.
I design the site and prepare a developer-ready handoff. For WordPress and Webflow builds I can also handle implementation, and for React or custom builds I work alongside your development team.
Most marketing sites need five to eight unique templates - home, about, services, a service detail, contact and a couple of supporting pages. Additional pages that reuse an existing template add very little to the cost.
Yes. I design desktop, tablet and mobile layouts as standard and document how components reflow between them, so mobile is a deliberate design rather than a squeezed desktop.
